3.3 Update errors22-Mar-2007Following today's issues and a thorough investigation, we have found a problem with the launcher files that are causing error messages that many of you have experienced.

For those of you that had these errors it may be necessary to copy the files from your ‘backup' directory into the main folder of your DDO installation directory.

To do this, follow these steps:

1 - Exit DDO if you currently have it running

2 - Locate the folder in which you have installed Dungeons and Dragons Online, (the default location for this is C:/Program Files/Turbine/Dungeons and Dragons Online Stormreach).

3 - Once you are in this directory, open the folder named ‘Backup'

4 - Select all the files and copy them, (right-click and select "copy")

5 - Navigate to the main Dungeons and Dragons Online directory. (The default location for this is C:/Program Files/Turbine/Dungeons and Dragons Online Stormreach).

6 - Right-click and choose "paste". You may be asked if you wish to replace newer files, select "Yes to all"

7 - Re-launch DDO, and patch up.

8 - Once the patch process is complete, you should be able to enter Stormreach.

You may notice that the client version is different to that of the one you patched to earlier, but this is necessary to resolve the issues seen today.

We are working on a more permanent solution and as soon as we have more information, we'll let you know. Apologies for the inconveniences caused.
